Ian Cape
Ian has been the drummer/percussionist at Les Misérables (the worlds longest running musical) for over 10 years. He has recently finished a collaboration for a signature collection of percussion sticks and beaters, after several years of development, and naturally needed some photos to celebrate and show them off! Migdalia - The quartet
Migdalia has an eponymous quartet who have combined to record her Debut EP 'Girl Facing South'. Migdalia needed branding, logos, photography, social media content and an album cover. Not all of the photography in these designs is mine but we were both pleased with the cohesive nature of the designs and the end result. You'll be able to see these designs over on her Instagram as well as at many of the venues and venue websites which the quartet will be performing at. They have also been used in a number of press releases
Josh (st1ds)
Josh, who releases under the moniker st1ds, has come out with an album named 'Toothbrush beats' which is an eclectic collection of short groovy tracks with a variety of influences which are perfect lengths to get that 2 minute brush. He needed a few candid shots that said London without being cliche. These are the result. They are a departure from my normal editing style which was fun
Phil Wain Trio
The Phil Wain trio is a jazz trio based in London. During the summer I had the chance to photograph one of their many open air summer gigs at Notes coffee in Kings Cross. I also created some social media content for them to advertise with
Migdalia
Migdalia is a professional drummer based in London with a special love of Jazz. She has several endorsements and wanted to do a shoot to highlight some of the gear that she uses. The hero of this particular shoot was the cymbals. Migdalia has just released her signature 'van der Jazz' symbols in collaboration with 'Red Cymbals' and both her and the company wanted some pictures for the release. These are just a few, some of which have featured on their various social media pages
Esther
Like so many things during lockdown, graduations have been postponed or cancelled. We had to get a little creative to get a set of graduation shots to fill the space left next to her two sisters graduation pictures which included reorganising the garden furniture and borrowing a gown and a certificate roll.
